. . . in charming Scottsville, Virginia, original seat of Albemarle County. Built in 1792, Warren Mill operated as a gristmill for over 100 years. The Mill is available on an occasional basis concurrent with family vacations. We will be traveling from May 10-21, so if you'd like to spread out your family gathering for UVA graduation weekend please contact me as soon as possible. We are perfectly suited for large family gatherings and great cooking, The rate is $500/night or $2500 for a full week. There are some flexible dates in late Summer and Autumn. Currently, we are renting the carriage house for single families or married couples. It is a newer structure built with post and beam which offers 2 bedrooms, a large family room and kitchen, bath, and expansive deck overlooking pasture and waterfall. Whether you are coming for history, wine touring, UVA games, fishing, or canoeing the James River, the Carriage House at Warren Mill offers an idyllic setting. For more information, contact Lisa at firstname.lastname@example.org
You are invited to enjoy a unique retreat on the banks of Ballenger Creek and the nearby James River. The 12 acres of this enchanting property include a large meadow, woods, waterfall and your own private swimming hole. Ballenger Creek passes under the historic culvert and empties into the James River, which is a short 5 minute walk from the Mill. Spend a day on the river tubing, canoeing, or fishing as you completely unwind from your daily cares.
We are now approaching our 4th anniversary of living here full time.
Our population has changed slightly as our two oldest daughters are both off at college, one in Wyoming and the other in Austria. As to the animals we are down to 3 goats, 2 cats and 1 dog.
